iFilm TV to wave goodbye to ‘Sheikh Bahaee’

iFilm English TV Channel has been set to air the final episode of ‘Sheikh Bahaee’ on Sunday.

The final episode of the series, produced by Habibollah Kasesaz and directed by Shahram Asadi, will be aired on March 3, 2024, at 22:00 GMT.

The series tells the story of Muslim scholar, philosopher, architect, mathematician, astronomer and poet Baha al‐Din Muhammad ibn Husayn al‐Amili, known as Sheikh Bahaee‎‎.

He lived in the late 16th and early 17th century Iran during the Safavid era. He is considered as one of the co-founders of Isfahan School of Islamic Philosophy.

The series reviews two different stages of his life and the historical context.

The cast list of the series includes Khosro Shakibaee, Danial Hakimi, Fatemeh Goudarzi, Saeed Amir-Soleymani, Changiz Vosouqi, Ali Nasiriyan, Ali Dehkordi, Atash Taqipour, Kourosh Tahami, Roya Teymourian, Ladan Mostofi, Zhaleh Olov, and Rahim Norouzi.

‘Sheikh Bahaee’, made in 2002, will be replaced by ‘A Fistful of Eagle Feathers’ made at the helm of Asghar Hashemi.
